ANNOUNCEMENTS

Call for Authors: Group V Entries for the Alevi Encyclopedia (Final Submission Deadline: 15 June 2026)

Dear Researchers,

We warmly invite you to contribute to the Alevi Encyclopedia, a multilingual, open-access digital platform dedicated to documenting the diversity and depth of the Alevi world and transmitting this knowledge to future generations.

Since its launch on 2 July 2025, the platform has quickly become an important shared space of knowledge, bringing together academics, religious authorities, and community members from different generations. Today, with an average of 2,500 daily visitors, the encyclopedia has achieved remarkable visibility. This growing interest offers contributing researchers an important opportunity for recognition and impact, both within academic circles and among the wider public.

The collective momentum that emerged from the II. Alevi Encyclopedia Symposium, together with the expanded editorial structure and thematic working groups, has given a strong direction to the encyclopedia’s new phase. This stage marks the beginning of a more collective, productive, and inclusive period of work. On this occasion, we would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all researchers, authors, and supporters who have contributed to the Alevi Encyclopedia so far.

We now look forward to your valuable contributions for the fifth group of encyclopedia entries, which will help illuminate Alevi studies, cultural memory, and the wider public, especially the Alevi community.
