Hakk & the Gate of Hakk

In this video, Pir Ali Doğan, a member of the Seyyid Seyfeddin (Pîrî Sevdîn) Ocak, presents a comprehensive narrative on the concept of Hak, which occupies a central position in the Alevi belief system. Tracing cosmological terms such as the Hak Gate, the Birth Gate, and the Zerre-i Âlem, the narrative extends from the source of existence to an understanding of the yol grounded in the principles of ikrar and rızalık. Focusing on the Birth of Existence and the concept of the “unity of all existence,” the account displays Alevi patterns of memory through traditional transmissions associated with figures such as Hasan Efendi of Başköy. By bringing metaphysical ideas of creation into dialogue with social practices, the video renders visible the intertwined spiritual and ethical dimensions of Raa Haqi cosmology.
