İkrar – the Second Gate of Hak
In this video, Pir Ali Doğan, a member of the Seyyid Seyfeddin (Pîrî Sevdîn) Ocak, explains in a multi-layered manner the concept of ikrar, defined as the “Second Gate of Hak” in the Alevi belief system. Following the Birth Gate, this threshold represents the moment in which the individual enters the yol on the basis of rıza and consciously declares their orientation toward Hak. The meaning of becoming a talip is evaluated together with the principle of the “unity of existence,” while the teachings of the çar anasır (four elements) make visible the connection between human creation and ikrar. As conveyed by Pir Ali Doğan, the “ikrar society” is not only a religious structure but also a field of moral, social, and metaphysical responsibility. The Riya Hakk (Raa Haqi) path is addressed as a process of transformation in which every can passing through this gate re-establishes their relationship with truth.
