Prayers, Addresses, and Narratives in Funeral Rituals (Kırmancki/Zazaki)
In this video, Pir Hasan Hayri Şanlı conveys the poems, prayers, and spoken addresses recited during the funeral ritual in his native language, Kırmanckî (Zazakî). The video begins with a poem written by Pir Hasan Hayri Şanlı specifically to be recited at funerals. It then continues with the prayers and speeches performed during the funeral ritual. This oral transmission is presented as an integral part of the language, meaning world, and ritual context through which the can is accompanied on its journey to Hakk.
