Rıza Şehri – Rızalık & Social Change
This video examines the ideal of Rıza Şehri, which occupies a central place in the Alevi belief system, through the concepts of Hak and hakikat. Core principles such as rızalık, musahiplik (misayb), and “carrying one can with a thousand cans” define not only interpersonal relations but also a social structure founded on justice and balance. The video offers a critical reminder of how these ancient principles are being eroded in today’s world, pointing to the loss of cem erkân, the decline of yol ethics, and the weakening sense of social responsibility. The rızalık society is not merely a utopia; it is also an ethical stance and the social manifestation of a voluntary bond established with Hak. While tracing the loss of these values, this narrative recalls Alevism’s worldview grounded in equality, integrity, and voluntary consent.
